The owners of the property are antiquarian decorators. They completely conceived the idea for the refurbishing of the mansion from the beginning to the end.

Each piece of furniture, each painting, each object has been chosen according to the themes defined at the start. Most of the furniture was ordered from Paris. Some authentic antique pieces are Chinese, Syrian, Indian and Indonesian; these have been purchased in specialists' stores in Paris.

The sculpted pictures of sheep in the lounge, the ‘fish in wood’ in the dining room, and the big aluminum fish in the master-bed room are all original art works of a Brazilian artist.

The house will be sold with all the furniture as well as a detailed inventory.

Location

Located in the hollow of the Toiny bay (l’anse Toiny), facing south-east, the mansion enjoys the magnificent sunshine from early sunrise. Protected by the hollow of the hill, it is protected from the strong winds that are found at Grand Fond only a few hundred metres away. However, it is always well ventilated, even in times of great heat.

The sea view is amazing and there is a quiet view of the virgin hill, where construction is not permitted, since it is classified as a green zone.

This is the only part of St. Barths still classified as wild and preserved.

Toiny is the country area of St. Barths and from the main road one can access the sea, with a walkway path, by foot, in few minutes and the serenity there will be greatly appreciated.

For walking and hiking lovers, the end of the beach takes one to the Toiny hotel, which is not too far. Thus it allows one to go for beautiful walks in the virgin country area.

The original mansion was constructed during the 1980’s. However, there has been modifications, with recently (2007/2008) the construction of a deck and swimming pool.

If the outside aspect of the structure appears to be traditional with its ‘fish bone’ style, the interior is very contemporary. The staircase is made out of aerial wood and the doors are made of steel. The kitchen is built with an exclusive cooking area.

The house is composed of a comfortable living room, with television (home cinema), a dining room, with a modern kitchen. there are guest toilets, a master bedroom called "the Indian bedroom", with a bathroom and useful external shower, as well as a space for an office desk.

There is a mezzanine with two french style windows ‘en chien assis’ (coming out of the roof). There is also a spectacular panoramical seaview. It brings light to the lounge that has a convertible sofa, so the room can be transformed into a bedroom. There is also a bathroom with toilets and shower.

An independent guest bedroom accessible via a patio called "the Chinese bedroom", with its bathroom, toilets and external shower.

On the deck, is an ‘ajoupa’ (a type of thatched shelter or summer house), the deck is used as an open dining room.

The living room opens on the same floor, with a large sliding bay window, made of six panels, which allows for the expansion of living space when so desired. Four long comfortable aluminum chairs of the Fermob brand. The swimming pool is integrated into the deck as a basin, with an overflow outlet, which avoids the ugly and noisy skimmers.

An external shower is hidden in the vegetation next to the latanier (fan palms) which is thirty years old.

One is gently rocked by the soft sounds of the water that flows along the Buddha that was brought from Bali.

The plumbing work and electrical system is brand new. The electrical system is automated and can control the variation of the light's intensity.

Each room has its own independent air-condition unit.

The automated window shutter of the mezzanine window is propelled by an electric button. An electric blind provides protection form the sun. The living room opens to the deck.

All the bathroom equipment comes from the Laufen brand. The tiles of the bathroom and swimming pool have been ordered by the owners from Paris and Italy.
